Would you like to come see us? Want to know more about honeybees and pollinators?

Our first-ever tour in May was a group of enthusiastic Girl Scouts. We are excited to welcome other groups as well, from book clubs and home schoolers to new beekeepers and bikers diverging for a few miles from the Tennessee Whiskey Trail

Farm tours:  Need a destination for your out-of-town friends or family? Has your book club just read The Secret Life of Bees? We would be happy to accommodate your group. Private tours (minimum 5 people) cost $10 per person*, last about 45 minutes, and are catered to your group's interests. Tours are seasonal.

Your tour may include information about basic beekeeping, pollinators, a look inside an observation or regular hive, growing wildflowers and herbs, or taking a stab at flower arranging (make your own wildflower bouquet to take home!).

All tours end with a delicious honey tasting, sort of like a wine tasting, where we explore several varieties of our raw honey. Tours do involve some walking on uneven ground, but since beekeeping involves all the senses, with advance notice we can cater to special needs participants as well.

Field trips: beekeeping is an exciting way to introduce folks to nature, agriculture and the symbiotic relationships found everywhere in the natural world. We welcome anyone, including home school groups, scouts and senior living communities, to come explore pollinators with us.

*special pricing available for large school groups

Photography or event rentals: Book our property for a private event or photo shoot among the wildflowers.
